Casey Tibbs: Es otro de los grandes campeones del Rodeo americano de todos los tiempos. De Dakota del Sur, es uno de los más laureados cowboys, con 9 campeonatos mundiales de Rodeo profesional. El Museo del vaquero americano tiene su estatua y una sección dedicado en exclusiva a Casey Tibbs, en la que destaca el poster de la portada de la desaparecida revista LIFE, con su foto.
También destacaron en su tiempo el tejano Eddy Akridge, el mexicano-americano J.C Trujillo, de Arizona, con un Campeonato Mundial completo en 1981, y Olin Young, de New México, Campeón lazador de novillos y Campeón Mundial completo en 1971 y 1974.
En los últimos años, Ty Murray, de Arizona, siete veces campeón del World All-Around Rodeo Champion (1989-1994, 1998), y dos del Bull Riding (1993 y 1998), entre otros títulos, ha sido uno de los más grandes cowboys.
En el área comercial, la firma de ropa vaquera Wrangler, la salsa picante Pace, American Airlines, los camiones Dodge, el whiskey Jack Daniels, y el Ejercito de EE.UU están entre los patrocinadores habituales del Rodeo.
