<p>Early in the summer of 2011 a friend and I awoke well before the sun and headed to the still-waters of the Baptism River. This section of the river, inland about 5 miles from Lake Superior, is flanked by tall ridges that provide breathtaking views. On this particular morning we knew that the lack of wind would provide some great opportunities to photograph dense fog. When we first arrived the distant shoreline was shrouded by the fog, but once the sun rose behind the ridge it began to dissipate revealing the gorgeous shoreline. June, 2011.</p>
